Yoga as a fitness regime has become so popular in Western culture. But did you know that the physical practice of Yoga is only one part of the practice as a whole? Join me for a series of workshops about Yoga Beyond Asana, where I’ll be teaching about the parts of Yoga that help you not just see the people and world around you in a better light, but also teach you how to love and grow within yourself!
Part Four: Dharana & Dhyana
The sixth and seventh limbs of the Yoga practice revolve around meditation. Dharana is the practice of concentration. When you concentrate on a single object (mental or physical), it can help clear the mind enough to better prepare you for Dhyana, meditation. During Dhyana, the mind produces very few or no thoughts at all & it can be daunting to try to get to this level of stillness. But during this workshop at Vikriya Lab you can learn tips & tricks for how to create a lasting practice!
